Is this a picture of what comes with a JWT PopCharger?

I bought a used JWT pop charger from a forum member a few months back. I always questioned whether or not it was a real one just because...well...I don't know what a real one looks like.

The cone filter looks like pictures I've seen, but this part doesn't. This is the part that goes between the MAF and filter.

So anyone who has bought a brand new JWT Popcharger, let me know if this is what you received with it.

Thanks!

That looks like everything I've seen of an adapter. Even if it's not quite right, it should still work with very little modification.

No, that is not a real JWT Pop Charger Velocity stack. The real one is made from solid aluminum. The curves on the real adaptor are very smooth. The piece is also pretty heavy.

I bought my pop charger straight from JWT late 2001. The velocity stack they shipped looks nothing like the picture you posted. Instead, it looks like Stillen's which is shown below:

The inner part of the stack is curved to allow smoother airflow.

That isn't the velocity stack. How much did you pay for it? I mean, in all honesty, i dont believe the velocity stack would increase hp to a feelable figure. But still, if he overcharged you, thats pretty f'ed up.

I dont think 50 is that bad. Brand new they are about 120 and i think i paid 80 shipped for mine. Dont sweat it. If you really want the velocity stack, try asking greg on custommaxima and see if he can get you just a velocity stack.

It might be worth askign JWT directly too since they pack the units there. It **might** be harder for Greg to separate the filter from the velocity stack/metal supprort brace.
