Resonated Exhaust Tips + Dynomax Super Turbo

If anyone is considering replacing their oem muffler,..the dynomax is only $40, and I put a Pilot resonated muffler tip on it, and it was as quiet as oem. I have now taken that one off, and am now on my third tip. Yesterday I had that thing yanked off, and a Greddy SP tip welded on..and the sound has come back out. It's not "loud", but it is deep and noticable...just perfect in my opinion.

if memory serves me correct...you are also running a F-master..which has never been known for being quiet. I like the sound of a "good", moderate exhaust note, thats why I couldn't wait to get that tip off

then again, my car isnt loud. I never realized how quiet a stock max till the other night, i was driving my friends and when i came to a stop, it was so quiet, i thought the car stalled.

my setup isnt overy loud, but it isnt exacly quiet. I cant understand why ours would be any different, other than how big is your Dynomax, mine is 18.5inches...

After about 10 seconds of driving, my car becomes almost unnoticeably smooth. Perhaps after cleaning the throttle body it'll be perfect. Once every couple weeks I will come to a stop and have to look at my tach to make sure the car is still on.

And now back to the topic. I have heard great things about the 2K1 muffler, how loud is that sucker?

I don't have a B-pipe (aftermarket), and this is probably the lowest toned muffler I have heard in a while. I will get some sound clips

Do you have a resonator in your b pipe? Also, do either one of you have any type of insane droning going on? I'm thinking about replacing my OBX rice ranister with the dynomax
