hey doods i just installed my progress rear anti sway bar, and sadly i dont even notice a difference..... what the hell?

and yes i installed it correctly im a diesel technition i think i can handle a sway bar..

does anyone agree with me that it is a pointless mod?

i barely have any body roll and it is much more stable at high speeds

this is probily the most approved mod for hte 4th/5th gen

did u put the bushings all the way one hte end or are they closer to the middle?

 

I absolutely love mine. But for "normal" driving, I probably wouldn't notice a bit of difference. I haven't noticed a bit of difference as far as body roll is concerned, but what I absolutely notice is the elimination of understeer. Answer this--how often before you installed the RSB did you take curves/corners fast enough to where your front tires would start to yell at you because they were losing traction? I did this on a daily basis, because I love to drive my car hard. After I installed the RSB, instead of the front tires losing traction, all four tires hold equally. When I get to the limit of traction (at what seems like a higher speed, now) all four tires equally lose grip and the car will start to slide. I think some people have even reported occasional oversteer. I haven't experienced this yet because either I don't push that hard or my currently stock suspension doesn't allow it. Get near the limit of traction, and I'll be very surprised if you don't notice a difference.

 

The sway bar was actually the first mod I did to my car, and it's definitely worth it. Definitely more stable at high speeds, and I have pushed my car to oversteer. Not under acceleration of course - don't know how you'd pull that off in a fwd - but accelerating good, and get off the gas a little, and you'll get oversteer easy. But you don't really want either, and the sway bar makes the Maxima's handling much more neutral.

i put the bushing all the way to the end, and i only have been using it today for a total of 3 hours, and i havent really pushed it although now that i drive around more it does seem just a tad more stable
