my new pads..
I changed my new brake pads which is genuine parts from dealer.
I found there were no holes for anti-rattle springs so I couldn't put it.My car is maxima 96 GXE. The part number is D1060-2Y991. Do you think I got the wrong one?

Just picked up some genuine pads at the nissan dealer today as well, and found no spring holes.. I'm double-checking the part # and all, because those springs are on there to lightly pull the pads from the rotor when the brakes are let off..

I changed my pads about two months ago and used the same part number. I had the same issue with the missing holes for the springs. The brakes have work just fine so far. I asked my auto instructor about it, and he said it might be a design change or something. Also, I checked AllData today, and there is a technical bulletin on squealing brakes pads. There were a replacement front and rear brake numbers listed, but those match the number I have.

my aftermarket pads had the holes.. but i think one of my pad return spring are wearing out.. front driver one donent do a very good job of pushing the spring to idle psotision.. i was pushing on them and it feels weaker han the passenger front. is it worth replacing or should i jsut leave it?
