I just purchased a 95 SE and bought a drop-in K&N filter. What should I get next? I would like to keep it a sleeper.

Depends on what you're lookin for in your Max. If you're lookin for performance, a y-pipe and an intake are a good start. Y-pipe is about $400 bucks a popcharger is about $120. This setup will give you a lot more pull on the Max.

Now personally, I'd up the suspension. Stock, the Max out performs a lot of cars, but the suspension can use some work indeed. A FSTB will run you anywhere from $70-200 depending on who you purchase it from. They all do the same thing. A RSB will run you anywhere from $120-200, again depending on who you buy it from. With these two suspension mods, you can say good bye to body roll and hello to takin corners at ridiculous speeds. Hope this helps.

Damn it! I knew you were gonna ask it! j/k
Courtesy maxima.org:
What is a Y-pipe?

The y-pipe is the piping that collects the exhaust gas from the front bank and the back bank of the engine and routes them out to the catalytic converter and to the muffler. The front of the pipe bring the exhaust gas to towards the back where it than merges with the gas from the back pipe. The reason the aftermarket makes power over the stock unit is due to restrictions. The stock unit has pre-cats, smaller catalytic converters that helps reduce emmissions when the engine is cold. This along with the fact that the stock piping is of smaller diameter effectively "steals" horsepower from the engine.
If the y-pipe legal you ask? Onces the car is at normal operating temperature, all emmissions test will be passed.

I wouln't think a Y pipe could be considered a sleeper mod, from what I hear everyone will hear, especially if you chnage your cat and muffler
