Just curious, after going from neutral, is it normal to have a slight 'thump' when going from neutral to 1st gear, when pushing the clutch in and not giving it any gas (basically still staying at a stop)? I had this happen to me a few times, and I wonder if my tranny is on its way out. If so I can still have it replaced under warrenty.

And WHAT do you use to add those scan lines in your sig pic...
I have yet to be ambitions enough to try to find it in PhotoShop

My car engages into first just fine with no thump, however when the car is cold, has been sitting, theres a slightly audible thump when releasing the clutch(into neautral after starting). after those 30 seconds it goes away. my car has 100k

Hey I created another image, with a bunch of black lines, then used a 2nd burn layer on my original image, copied the black lines with a transparent background over to the 2nd image, and allowed the 2nd layer to 'burn' in. This was not done in photoshop however. The program I used is a much more simple program called 'Paint Shop Pro'.

Actually that is what I meant, just when entering 1st, and the clutch is still fully pressed to the floor.
