hey the same thing happened to me. take the ac control out. you gotta take out 2 screws on the top of center console and 3 underneath where the ashtray is at. after you get your console out take the ac control out and youll see little holes in the back. there some brown colored plugs there. twist them a quarter turn pop them out and that will reveal the lightbulb. take the blue caps off the lights and go to radioshack and get some mini 12 volt 60 miliamp wire terminal micro lamps raplace the original bulbs put the blue caps on them and pop them back in. i did it myself in like 20 minutes. good luck.

i went and picked up the bulbs at radio shack...but the were way smaller and they were the only ones i could get my hands ons... but the issue is the blue covers dont fit... so i installed them without the blue covers and now the lights are orange.... and the bose radio lights are greenish....its not hella ugly but not good looking either... any ideas on how to get all the lights the same color???

hey, i know the bulbs are a bit smaller, but they produce the same amount of light as stock. you could try alot of stuff to try to get them to glow blue instead of that orangey look. you could try painting them with some blue paint, but use a light coat. or you could go get some liquid latex and dip the bulbs in that. i guess just use your imagination. oh yeah my blue caps didnt fit either but i just squeezed them over the actual plastic piece holding the light in. good luck
