Recently, my clutch has been making a clicking noise when engaged either in neutral or when in gear while moving. When I first got the car, I knew the clutch didn't have much life left in it. I think I just need to get the clutch replaced, but might there be another problem? I know it's the clutch, because when I press the clutch pedal down, the noise stops. Anyway, if I need a new clutch, any suggestions? I heard ppl with the ACT stage 1 clutch have had 3rd gear go out... wondering how that happens. Anyway, any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

 

You can always just get a stock one again. Or the ACT of course.

Also, you could get the Exedy.

Also, SPEC makes a very nice clutch. It's all new parts unlike the ACT which uses remanufactured pressure plates. Stock pedal feel, and it holds the same amount of torque as the ACT. And since it's a sprung hub design, it's a little easier on your tranny.
