The "leather" on my armrest (where I, of course, rest my arm) is splitting right below the stitch ...assuming there's no way to repair leather after it splits (?), if I manage to get another armrest from the junkyard, how tough is it to install it? Looks like the hinge unscrews (simple enuff), but the two plastic thingies that keep it from flipping completely backward don't look like they come out easily.

Suggestions?

Oh, BTW: 99SE-L, black leather interior...
