Yesterday I went on a 500 mile trip and on the way home my CEL came on. Well I stopped at a rest area couldn't find anything wrong with it so I just thought it was a sensor or something. So when I got home I noticed that it was leaking. I checked under and it's coming from the transmission. I haven’t done anything with it just parked it and now there is a huge puddle under it. I think all the fluid must have come out. I talked to a friend and he said it might have over heated and torn a seal or something. Any info would be very helpful. How much is nissan going to charge me to repair this?
1997 se 5spd 92k miles clutch replaced around 75k.

 

Depends where it's leaking from. Check the driveaxle seals, backup sensor (behind driver's wheel) and drain/filler plug (front of tranny, driver's side.

That's a lot to leak in one go. Make sure it's not something stupid like Zippy-luber forgot to tighten your tranny filler plug.
