Warning: Fuse Panel Incorrect....?

Ok, I last week, my AC was out and it sucked hard seeing as how I live in Texas. So I posted to see if someone could think of something I didn't seeing as how I had checked both fuses. Thursday (6/26) I went to t56gen3's house and we went through all the plugs trying to see if the compressor was even receiving a signal. We checked the fuses under the hood and the plug near the battery. We checked the relay and realized that it wasn't receiving power either. We went to the computer and pulled up the FSM. After studying it carefully, I came to the conclusion that it HAD to be a fuse. We proceeded to check all the fuses in the fuse panel in the car coming to a couple empty slots. The first empty slot read nothing so we didn't worry about it. The next empty slot we came to was labeled as a spare. If you look at the diagram on the cover, it's the spare directly to the right of the AC fuse. Sure enough, there was a signal, we popped a fuse in and my AC kicked on! The fuse was pulled from there to replace a blown radio fuse the day before I noticed the AC was out. So, in conclusion, I'm not sure how many other Max's are like this, but apparently my car is not wired like the diagram shows.... just a heads up I guess...

I'll check my fuses, but if you robbed a fuse to fix something and the next day your A/C stopped working why did it take you so long to put 2 + 2 together?

well, reason one is because I was not the one that robbed the fuse from one spot to fix another problem and I trusted the guy who did it. the second reason is that after I checked myself, the fuse he pulled was labeled SPARE. I naturally assumed that it was not the AC fuse. It makes sense now, but I generally tend to believe the fuse diagram on the back of the panel. :dunno:
