are '96 and '99 gauge clusters the same?

are '96 and '99 gauge clusters the same?

Just need reinforcement that the '96 and '99 gauge clusters the same? I am like 99 percent sure they are, but just looking for the extra 1 percent to say yes:-)

Very close though I believe the '98+ models have the digital odometer. But the surrounds are the same, the aluminum gauge bezel we make is the same for the 95-99 models.

i believe the Fuel gauge faces the opposite way on pre-97 models, my friends 96 does...

95 through 97 are the same. Analog odo and feul gage and temp face the same way: left.
98+99 have digital odo. The feul and temp gage face each other in a more pleasing symmetrical appearance

I gather you have a 96 and want to put a 99 cluster in? If I were you, I'd look for a 95,96, and/or 97

Physically, they are all the same, except for the small internal niceties I mentioned above. But on the back, the 98+99 may have a simple plug change to make sure no one mixes up the gages with the previous year cars. I can't really tell you that for certain
