how many miles, what your driving habits are, if you ever take it to the track and how often.

I drive hard all the time. I chirp tires at least once a day. I race every other week. About 30 dragstrip runs with the ACT. had it for about 8k miles. stock clutch lasted 11k miles with me driving it so we'll see how this holds up.

the biggest thing I am trying to figure ot is has anyone had good luck with their ACT clutch with regular races. My new disc is getting to be the same age that my other disc was when it grenaged on me.

I have over 60K miles on my ACT heavy duty street clutch (HDMM) and have had no problems whatsoever over the entire period. I do not race my car at the track but do drive it agressively. I never force shifts but do shift quickly. I do launch aggressively on a semi-regular basis. I would describe my driving style as pushing the car as hard as possible without beating on it.

Only thing I don't really care for on the ACT is the stiff clutch pedal. It's liveable but I'd prefer a lighter pedal. My clutch has been like this from Day 1 so it's not some problem that's developed, it's just the way the clutch is.

well the stiffer pedal is just par for the course. That comes from the HD pressure plate. This is part of what makes an ACT clutch grab like it does.

How many times are you going to ask :P

I've had my ACT for almost 20k, and it's still holding up even with a little nitrous use. My clutch probably has at least 25 1/4 mile runs, and it has 6 or 7 autocrosses. Clutch engagement is still as low as the day I got it, but it has softened up on everyday driving engagement (meaning less chatter).

last time I asked about people that had their clutch go out early. This tie I am searching for the opposing veiw point, and hope to get the people that have had great longevity from their clutch.
