I was trying to think of a way to get the front turn signals to stay on when the heaadlights are on, kind of like fog lights. At first I was thinking of installing an 1157 socket with three wires and connecting the low setting wire to the power wire on the side marker. This might work,But the light would be dimmer than the headlights.

My new idea is to just switch the wires from the blinkers to the side marker...so the blinker wires are going to the sidemarker and the sidemarker wires are going to the front turn signal. This would result in the front light to stay on when the headlights are on, and the side light would become the turn signal

But the front won't blink...unless you rewire them like everybody normally does. Cut the ground, which is now going to the front and connect it to the power wire, now going to the side.

What do you guys think...Can the #194 bulb in the side handle the current that is supposed to got to the front.

Will this work?
