KYB Installlation Question/

I'm installing KYB AGX struts on my 1996 Maxima and had two questions for anyone regarding the rear strut installation.

1) You seem to have to rotate the strut 90 degrees and realign the top bolts in the upper bracket to allow the connector at the wheel to go in smoothly/right. Does that make sense?

2) What is the best way to position the firmness adjustment switch. In towards the center of the car or out towards the wheel. In towards the car looks like it would be easier to adjust. But wanted to do it the right way.

Thanks for your help.

To get the strut/spring unit out of the wheelwell in the front you should pass the bottom of the unit down between the tie rod and the control arm. This will allow you to tilt the top of the unit in or out.

Most people position the ***** towards the center of the car in the rear.

Hi there for your #2 question there is realy a choice if you look at the OEM rear strut look at the dent where the spring seats and you'll see that the *** goes towards the wheel thats how I have my and is just fine you may have to get on your back and almost under the car to adjust them
but they work great hopes this help ....
