95 Max, wheres the EVAP, not by the rear wheel.

I cant find the EVAP cnaister purge control valve. "OR" . EVAP canister purge volume control.

Its not on the top of and engine and its definatley not in a box near the rear wheel either. HELP! i got a box by the rear wheel but its just a vent that goes into the trunk (i took it off a few times, i know) Also Why do 97-99 have all that stuff at the top of the engine?

any help is appreciated.

Im looking in the Haynes Manual, and on the very last page of Chapter 6, there is a picture of the location of the Charcoal canister. It is under the ductwork for the intake. pretty much between the Throttle Body and Air Filter housing. Just remove all that ductwork and look down in there between the 2 above mentioned parts, towards the brake lines. On the 95's, its a round canister instead of a box. I hope this helps

I think I've pulled the EVAP purge valve ECU code before, and attempted to find and fix it. I think, although I'm not positive, that the purge valve is the small cylinder shaped object that bolts directly to the large black shoebox located behind the driver's side rear tire. It faces the front of the car. No idea if that's right, however, cause I was never able to fix it.
