Does this intake require cutting the fender??

I dont think u have to cut anything. Looks like an Injen racing division CAI that goes behind ur radiator.

 

Best thing to do is email the seller and ask. I would almost guarantee that that particular intake will require a hole.

I just purchased This one and the parts look very similiar.

It requires a hole as it puts the filter in behind the battery.

I've installed it just using the mid pipe for now and may go the full CAI route should I actually get the nerve to cut my fenderwell open.

Oh yah, AMAZING DIFFERENCE!! in the behaviour of the car and damn it's loud now!

 

are intakes from ebay worth it? or is it better to buy from some other source?

 

I thought the one I picked up to be good value. The seller was also very good to deal with. Very prompt shipping(even to Canada) and quickly answered several questions I had before bidding.

I'll try and get a post up in the next day on the install w/pics.

 

THta is the smae exact shape as the place racing one and does requre a cut in the fender. If you bought it and dont want it ill buy it from you.

 

Is the midpipe the same length as the stock accordian?

I bought that same intake off procarparts.com...it does require drilling a hole

 

I bought that exact same one also. Im not using the long pipe now, but if I want to change in the future, I will go ahead and do it. I love teh way it sounds, and I can feel a little difference. um...well...the stock peices were all weird...its about the same size i assume.
