I wanted to know if I can paint the stillen kit with the paint from towerpaint that every1 is buying. The thing im worried about is the icelandic pearl. I'm not sure if the kit will match up with the rest of the car. I got a quote for painting it and its $400!! to color match it and this is with a hookup. My friend got his eclipse body kit done there in the ruby metallic for only $200 and it looks really good(no problems with chipping,losing shine after 2 years). Would i use the lacquer or enamel?

I used towerpaint for my 97 Artic Pearl White, and it was fine. The white primer I used actually was a perfect match. The base coat paint was a decent match, but not as good as the primer. When you apply the clear coat or finishing coat, just go lightly. Not much is needed to get the right match. After 2 years with the paint job I did and hitting a few parking stops, I've decided I might need to go with paintscratch.com since they'll add flex-agent.
