5spd owners question

I might be losing it, but does your third gear seem smoother than the other gears? What I mean is it seems like when I shift to third quickly and let off the clutch, the car doesn't have that jerky feel to it. I think I may have abused my third gear too much. Oh well, if any of you have the same deal going on let me know. I'm always trying to find something to worry about with my ride. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks.

I have a 99 5sp and I also agree that the third gear "sometimes is not the easiest to shift into". I guess every car is different.

my cars third is very easy to shift into, it almost feels like im pushing the shifter strait up and not slightly to the side. it also doesnt jerk as much because the third gear has alot less tourque than 1st and 2nd. i have never chirped my tires in third, although i wish i could.
