y-pipe gaskets and bolts

I just received my budget y-pipe today. There are 3 gaskets total and 2 are metal gaskets… shouldn’t that come with paper gaskets as well. Inside of the pipe has lots of dirt. Should I try to clean it? Where can I buy a few new bolts?

There should be two crush rings and one gasket if I remember correctly.

The crush rings go inbetween the Y and the exhaust manifold and the other gasket goes between the cat and the Y.

The dirt would be blown out of your exhaust when you install it and start the car up... I wouldn't worry. It wouldn't hurt to shove some compressed air through there to flush it out.

As for bolts, your local hardware store is probably easier and cheaper than buying off a website. Heck bolts are cheap enough... just get the right kind from Nissan.

the 6 studs for the manifold are about 2.16 a piece from nissan.. the nuts are 4.00 from nissan.

cat nut is .60 cents.. cat bolt is 1 buc and some change.

i checked it out today.. just go to pepboys and get the cat bolts and nuts. studs u prolly wont be able to find so go to nissan for those. then go to pepboys or home depot and get soem ss nuts that fit the studs if you wanna replace alll the mounting hardware.
