You can't be serious. All throughout the post they have been saying that my transmission is completely custom. The case is different too. A Supra differential can fit a Maxima if it is CNC machined to fit and the drive shafts are shortened. Why would I use a Viscous unit that only put 25% power to the opposite wheel when I could get an LSD that puts 100% power to both wheels? The Supra has Posi Trac, end of story. Toyota designed it that way. I never said I ran a 13.6 or that my car was the fastest. Someone else posted that. It is definitely close though.

Stock gear ratio is 3.20, not 3.62.

Other mods include:

Custom short ram intake (filter sits behind the headlight)
Budget y-pipe
Pilot Motorsports canister muffler
UPRD ECU
Port matched upper and lower intake manifold and throttle body
Extrude honed exhaust manifold.

I read that the final drive ratio of the stock auto is 3:62
and the final drive ratio of the stock manual is: 3:82

Specs from Edmunds. Is this wrong?

Yes, the stock maxima clutches only have 7-teeth. This equates to a 3.20 final drive. My new clutches have 15-teeth. This equates to 3.85 final drive.

This is in accordance with Jatco, the makers of this transmission.

Before I begin I want to tell NightRider that I'm very proud of him for representing the autos.

But this begs the question, why did you want a high performance auto instead of a high performance manual transmission?

First of all when you did the car test did you take in account the aftermarket mods that he has. One being a specially designed intake. Second he has an ecu. Third, he has had his manifold worked on as well. If you have all of these factors programmed in, then let me know. Also, eventough your program can simulate it, I bet your car can't do it. Especially on the road as I said earlier. Your car will shift gears in "D" well before you hit 6600 rpms.
hmmm.. and all these mods effect the top speed in each gear.. how?

If a car has a xxx final gear and xxx gear for each one of the gears, no mods will really allow it to run any higher speed in each gear. Maybe if the redline is raised though the ecu? But mods like Y, intake, muffler will only allow the car to get to xxx speed quicker than before. But with xxx final gear, xxx gear ratio and xxx rpm, the speed will be pretty much constant w/ the same dia tires.

And if the Supra differential is a true LSD unit, it won't "lock". The % slip that it allows is probably much higher than a VLSD as most non-vlsd units are above 25%. But the Quaife would have been a good canidate vs the Supra unit.

Only a welded up differential will 100% lock. Not good for street use at all.
