Can the ECU be wrong?
Can the ECU be wrong?
Ok I've posted many many many times with questions about the SAFC-II.
I was playing with it today when it showed me that my redline was at 6752.
Now for the NAY-sayers, I didn't just punch it and let the fuel pressure bounce the RPMS higher. I reved it up to each thousand mark and compared the tach to the SAFC. I noticed that my tach was a little off and I'm reving a little above what my needle says. Well then I decided to let it creep up to the redline(p1ssing off the neighborhood)and as the needle began to press up to the redline the digital readout said 6600, so I gave it a little more, and the cutoff finally hit, and I was at 6752. So could it be wrong? the SAFC just reads what the computer says right?
