Pacesetter STS

I put this in with my 5spd conversion, and I think it's the reason that occasionally I can't get into gears 1, 2 or 3 randomly.

Anyway, is there anything that can be done to modify the sts to make it work right?

the ball on the pacesetter is like 1 mm too wide so hard shifting, use a dremel all around it to make is just a little smaller.

if i didnt dremel it I would still have the stock shifter, because there was no way it would fit in there. there might be a difference between the 95-96 and 97-99 shifters
