my check engine light went on cause when i installed my ypipe, i stripped the threads on the o2 sensor so i couldnt put it in the new pipe. so i rolled around for 3 days without an o2 sensor. i jsut got a new one. put it in. but check engine light is still on. i reset ecu already. nothing else was wrong with the car 3 days ago..im stumpped..does running without an o2 sensor mess up anything else in less than 3 days??

 

What codes does the ECU give?

 

havnt checked yet..too hot to go anywhere to get the code..

 

its 1001.. left heated o2 sensor..i alredy replaced it.. hmmmm...stil blinking..
