Are Y-pipe upgrades worth it for California emissions Maximas???

Bearing in mind that only one pre-cat is removed for the aftermarket y-pipe, is there a significant performance gain when adding an aftermarket california-spec y-pipe to a california emissions maxima? I'm sure it's not as great as the one for those who have Federal emissions spec cars....

Anyone know??? I'm considering a y but will not if the overall gain is not worth the cost and time....

Fed Spec Y pipe gains are in the range of 12 - 18 HP
Cali Spec Y pipe gains are in the range of 8 - 12 HP

Call Budget Exhaust or visit them on the web.

Even for us Cali Spec cars, it's still the best bang for your buck mod.
