**HELP** Wheel Lock Adapter
#7
you can either do what he's saying or one of the following; take a socket preferably craftsman, ensuring that the socket is tiny bit bigger and tap it on the locking lug and get a breaker bar and use some elbow grease 2. go to autozone and buy a lugnut breaker kit or go to a mechanic and have them get it off

most manufacturers require proof of purchase for the wheel locks to send u the key. from what i have seen you have to send in a registration card when you buy the locks so that if you ever lose it, they have you on record as the owner of the wheel locks. looks like you are just gonna have to suck it up and break the locks off.

I had the same problem when I bought the car used...they lost the adaptor.
What I did was get a socket (Craftsman) that is slightly bigger than the lock nut. Now, not too big and not too small...what you need to size it for is that when you place the socket over the lock nut, you have to bang it hard.
This will allow the socket to dig into the lock nut. Now just get a good quality socket handle and possibly a breaker bar and turn hard. Mine did not require a breaker bar as it was not on tight.
It worked for me...good luck. Otherwise, a garage may help.
