My 99 Se Vs. My Friend's '00 Se

what's faster if we ran a 1/4 mile? we both have stock rides. i guess i'll have to take out my subs, box, and amp b4 the race.
P.S. oh and we both have AUTO =(

They are close, the '99 will have more low end punch due to the better torque/weight ratio.

And just for a little factiod: The 1995 SE 5spd Edition Maxima came with a 3.8L VQ pumping out 230hp/266lb.ft torque and did 0-60 in 5.7 and the quarter mile in 14.4@96mph.

ya it kick@ss ***. it's a normal 3.0 bored and stroked, with a different crankshaft and thicker cylinder walls. Redline is unchanged.

Is this an extremely rare find? Was it available in the US?

Yeah, i just did that VQ swap the other day, gonna get some pics up soon, its a monster, no grip in 1st and half of 2nd. I love it!!

And i think the power is underated, more like 240-250hp...
