Engine Issues.. HELP

As soon as I start my car the rpm at idle is 1300rpms, after it warms up it goes to normal 700rpms. Anytime I am in neautral though, If i press the gas pedal the idle goes to say 2 grand, it drops to 1200rpms pauses .. then drops to 700rpms again .. Whats wrong?

Mods :
Intake , y pipe , full exhause from Y back.

Anyone HELP ?

My car has always done exactly the same thing.

I always assumed that when you start the car it always has a higher RPM than when warm because the ECU tells the car to warm up and charge the battery and such.

Mine also does the revving in nuetral thing also.

I'm sure it's perfectly normal.

I do think that is perfectly normal since it can drop back to 700. Unless it revvs up by itself.

Your default throttle stop screw is probably just a slight bit to far out. Disconnect the throttle position sensor, start the car and see where it idles. If it's up around 1200, adjust the stop screw slightly to bring it down to around 750. Turn the car off, reconnect the throttle position sensor and start it back up. That should stop the slight hang up at 1200 RPM's. It should fall nice and smoothly back to ~700 when you blip the throttle in neutral.

Don t fix it unless is broken... My car does the same thing,so no need to worry about it. Would be trouble if doesn t go to 700 rpm.
