jerking and slight hesitation

i get some jerking in my car when i let off the gas going about 10 mph in 1st gear, sometimes i'll let off the gas and it will roll a bit then suddenly jerk while still rolling at like 3-4 mph, also i get some slight hesitation when accelerating in 2nd and 3rd at about 2200 - 2500 rpms, wtf is the problem? PlSSIN me off! lol

your definition of "jerking" is pretty vauge, but it sounds like an engine mount

hmm well its like i'll take it up to 10 or so mph in 1st, and let off the gas and it roll a little bit then the car will bog, like if ur not giving it enough gas off the line and letting off the clutch too fast almost abou to stall, but not quite that violently

I think that I already found the problem (Knock Sensor), will replace mine soon and post results here, www.motorvate.ca is a great site as a guide to replace the knock sensor (expensive part, $124.99 plus shipping)

Either that or its the good ol' Autotragic transmition of ours. It sounds like my car. Except my car is perfectly fine. On let me guess, does it lag in 2nd gear up until you hit 2k RPM? Where you get a sudden boost of power? Yeah its just our nasty Auto Transmition.

How much is the conversion process by a transmition shop? Oh, never mind I'll search before I get flamed. Thanks.

ive got that same sorta problem, feels like the transmission is falling out of the bottom of my car sometimes when it shifts, especially 2nd-3rd around 2500-3000 rpm. and mine gets that "extra boost" like you were talking about around 2750 rpm, kind of strange. feels like it downshifts, but its just accelerating, and then actually shifts so its a pretty jerky ride

figured it out im such a geek, if u have a midpipe make sure u do this, there should be a lil hole in it that allows u to place the intake air temp sensor from the scoop that goes to the air box in stock trim, onto the midpipe, i plugged it in, hesitation is GONE..... now i have a knock sensor code tho i reset it and it hasn't come back.... will it come back if its bad? will it NOT come back if its bad since i recet it?

If the knock sensor is bad the code will come back and the ECU will register it again in memory !
