how does the aftermarket b-pipe get around the "a small bracket that bolts to the bottom of the car" issue ?

There is a slight bend in the b-pipe to clear the bracket. I will crawl under my car and take some pics. (I wish I had a hoist!)

If I had a dollar for each time I refer somebody to your site, my car would be paid for by now.

Keep up the good work!

good stuff. i love your site man. i was trying to figure out why you had a 2.1 60' and a 15.0....dude you dont look like you put any effort into shifting. it doesnt even look like you are racing...i get all pumped up and bang some gears when i get my best runs...just wondering what you were thinking...how a 2.1 and a 15.0 go together?

Frank, not to pester or anything, but I'm just curious on when you think that will be up on the site. I'll probably be too scared to try any body work, but I've been thinking of heading to the body shop for this recently and would like to at least take a look at your synopsis of the job before I do.

Your site is great, we can't give enough thanks here for it

My best ever is a 14.900, so a 15.0 is not far off. The car just finished 3 back to back runs, with ach run is 3 minutes appert, so the engine was hot, and maybe down on HP a little. My best runs are ALWAYS after the car sits for 45 minutes with the hood up.

Maybe:
-With 275,000+ KM (170,000 miles) I may be a little down on HP. (last dyno 184 HP at the wheels with (y & B pipe, and Stillen cone)
-I am giving up ET to get a good 60 foot.

Thanks for your kind words on the site. It is really doing quite well righ now. (6,000 visits per month!)

-Frank

I don't know if the rust repair is worth the wait. It is a very quick and not so pretty way of fixing the rust.
With the age of my car, I am now in "maintenance mode" not a "keep it looking brand new" mode.

However, I will try to get the article done in 3-4 days.

Thanks,
Frank

If you have a y-pipe: Yes. Maybe more with a less restrictive muffler.

With out the y-pipe, I don't think so.

I was reading your update on the alternator with a udp. i just replaced an alternator( my second one) and I am wondering since I do have a stereo, subs and amp with a udp could this be killing my alternators? Im thinking so. Would a farad cap help this problem? Any suggestions? I know this should probably be in the stereo forum. sorry.

Great stuff

Those are cool videos. The video from the front and side looks like the car is ready to break loose from the dyno!

You provide so much useful info on your site. I think it is great that you include dynos with your mods. Last time I checked where the resonator was, I didn't notice the 1/3 size crush everyone is talking about.
