Digital Clock Problem

When I start the car cold the digital clock doesn't come on until the car warms up. So is the stereo. Then I shut the car down and restart, no problem at all. Is there anything wrong with my electric system?
Also I have a 95SE 5spd at 115k mile, my shift **** vibrates a lot, is it normal?
Thanks for advice.

I'd say it depends on how cold it is. No matter how new or old your car is, if it's really cold your car will/may do very weird things. As for the clock...I bought a new one off ebay for $16.50 shipped and installed it in 5 minutes. If you have a little cash laying around you may want to fish around on ebay for one just to sort of "test" things a little to see if you can at least get the clock to work all the time. Do you have the Clarion or Bose stereo? I have the Bose and it always has a trick up its sleeve...

Last time I checked, the BOSE headunit was made by Clarion.
