What exactly do knocking and pinging "sound like"? I just bypassed my knock sensor (pretty sure it was ko'd) and now I want to make sure I'm not getting knock. What do I listen for and when? I get a slight shudder, but it's far too regular to be knock and occurred even when my bad ks was causing low ignition advance. The shudder is more frequent now that the ks is bypassed and is like a pulsation more than anything.
