HELP! I broke my MAF putting on my intake! Cheap replacment?

I was putting on my frankencar that I finnally got in the mail today and the MAF green plug wouldnt come out, so I unscrewed it and took it out but the prongs came undone (I guess they were soudered before). Now the car will sort of idle and will stall easily. Does anyone know how much a new MAF will cost at a dealer? Are there cheaper places to get one online?
Thanks,
Dan

go to the junkyard for sure and if you get on that thread(3rd MAF) tell the guy to go easy on the K&N oil for christs sake.

I did a similar thing when I installed my original intake. The dealership quoted me nearly $500 canadian. That's a complete rip-off. Most junk-yards will sell them for under $100 (canadian -- $60 US or so.) I got a special deal and picked up a new one for $60

Thanks,
Dan

Ok guys thanks for all the replys. I went to the junkyard and bought one from a 98, installed it with the intake and it works fine, sounds great. The only thing is that the check engine light is on. I am going to autozone to check the code later today, I hope its nothing serious.

The code will be the MAF sensor. Just have them clear it, or do it yourself. Check the stickys in the 4th Gen forum You can pull the codes, and reset them yourself and not have some clueless guy at AutoZone do it and tell you to replace your MAF
