Ebay coilovers?

Ebay coilovers?

Hey what do you guys know about these coilovers? do they require struts too? what is the advantages and disadvantages of them... this seems really cheap... let me know what you guys think...

They dont require struts, but if you dont get matching struts your ride will be very bouncy. I bought a set of Arospeed for my Jetta w/o struts and it was worse than stock

what struts are matching? does Weapon R make them? or do you just use like agx's? thanks for the help

If you keep them high there shouldn't be any bounce. It's when you lower the car too much that it starts to bounce. If you want it low get the coilovers and Motivational Engineering shortened struts and rear upper strut mounts. As far as I know AGX are not shortened struts, but since they are adjustable you can firm up your ride. Weapon R's seem nice in the ad, but thats because they are selling them. My cousin bought different coilovers off Ebay for $105 shipped and work fine raised up, but he likes it low and its on the bump stops so it bounces. Anyway you will get a stiff ride with little body roll. And no you don't need the struts, but when your car is apart why not replace them.
