I know quite a few of you have SPRINT SPRINGS and I would like some feedback
Hi fellow 4th genners, I'm thinking of getting some sprint springs for my 3rd gen but I have some ?? that need to be anwsered first. Is the drop really 1.8-2" or is it less after they settle in?? You know how some companies say one thing and they don't really come close. Will the drop cause major scrapping on driveways, parking blocks, undercariage?? I have a wsp y pipe and it looks like it would scrap on parking blocks if I pull up to close. Anyone have problems with this??
One las thing. How is the ride?? This is the imfamous question that eveyone wants to hear. I have done searches on this forum, but I can't seem to find any good reviews on the ride quality and comfort of these new sprint springs. I read on MaximaDriver.com that the eibachs and sprints have the same performance rating, is this true?? I'm guessing that these springs are the same as eibachs but with a bigger drop.
Please help a fellow maxima driver out.
Take care,
ICE

Well I installed my sprint springs this saturday and here is my views on them..
The drop: WOW the front looks amazing to say the least. about one finger to 2 fingers gap.. alot considering the former wheel gap. I must say though, I am disapointed with the drop in the back. Stock I could fit aproximatly five fingers between the fender and the tire and now four fit very snuglly. So I am estimating the rear was only lowered about an inch.. maybe these will settle but for now I am disappointed with that.
The ride: Damn! I thought these springs would ride stiff as hell, but to my suprise they are really not that bad. Definatly stiffer but a good stiffer not to harsh. I have ridden in H&R setups and I must say these are only a bit harsher. I have scraped a few times going over humps I thought would not have done it, but with the new ride height comes new responsibilities such as going extremely slow over dips.
The Handling: While the springs werent the only handling mod i made.. a strut brace was added too, the handling aftarwards is very significantly changed. Turns are actually fun now and not overidden with that nasty body roll. I feel alot more confidence riding through the twisties now.
Well these are just my impressions of the springs, I hope they help.

the reason why the back MAYBE a bit high to you is because Nabil told them to raise it a bit.
the prototypes were sagging a bit and with 5 heads in the car, it was almost too low..
don't worry. after the sprints settle in a bit, the rear will drop about 1/4 inch more....
i can't wait to install these things.. freakin' its sitting in my closet.. but don't worry.
expect to see FULL coverage of the install, picts, reviews and what not on MaximaDriver.com in the coming week or two..
glad that you all like em, we all should email nabil and say thanks.. (too bad he's on vacation. hehe)

Well Nabil didnt get my springs for me.. I bought them from a place called Han Motorsports in California. They were with the groupdeal thing for 145 including shipping. I honestly dont think these springs will settle anymore. I am very satisfied with the front, but i think the back sucks. I hate it to tell you the truth. Ryan93SE has H&Rs and we compared them.. the front is a good 1/2 or more inch lower but the rear of the sprints is actually higher..
