Who has the best sounding exhaust on the ORG ?

Who has the best sounding exhaust on maxima.org ? If you think you do can you prove it with a sound clip ...? Other members can rate the clips ? And then maybe we can get somekind of clue as to what to stay away from and what is sounding GOOOD !!!

I personally have a MAGNAFLOW STREET SERIES 5X8 MUFFLER

you can hear files on my homepage, im wanting to change to something else.

I have stillen intake, cattman Y, RT cat, stillen B, and stillen Muffler. I think it sounds like SH%* from the outside... but on the INSIDE its a totally diff beast... so for inside, this combo rocks, but outside, its WAY too buzzy. I got sound clips too if you are interested.

Where and how did you get that Borla Muffler?

Any modifications to make it fit? How much did it cost you?

I have WSP Y-Pipe, WSP B-Pipe, Straight Pipe, and Stillen Exhaust.

It sounds like azz. Like a civic or something....Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....

i sound okay on the inside of the car but when i get down on it i unleash the evil bees .. i hear worse all the time. but there must be a setup that sounds good for the max ..

brizsblackmax send me some sound clips of that flowmaster 40 .. i have the 2.5 all the way back . its the 14 inch magnaflow ss muffler thats spoiling the show ..

i have also heard try dynomax super turbo but cant get a single sound clip

ilumo - send me that clip if you dont mind

hlh505 i think is his screen name
the sound of the turbine from the turbo makes it a really deep throaty sound...along with the 3" turbo back exhaust
clips can be found on his website

I don't know if mine qualifies for best or worst. Many love it in real life, it is hard(impossible) to capture the real sound on computer, especially when converted from video captured by a digital camera anyways haha

(you will most likely have to "save-as" for the mp3's to actually play)
idle

from the side (at the track)

from the front (at the track)

I had this and it was just a little too loud for my taste. at like 3000rpms it was seriously deep deep loud. it shook like bass does. Anyway i sold it and im getting a 2002 SE Exhaust with a Custom B pipe possibly.

I cant stand any exhaust near a loud/rice exhaust.

happytobe> whats ur setup, you claim were gonna love it so so good, but ahh ya never told us what it was.

I don't remember the Apexi droning at 3000rpms...there's a spot on the throttle that keeps the exhuast nearly silent. Are you saying with the Y pipe it will be making noise at a highway crusing speed of 3k RPMs?

thanks

after listening to my clip and zeff789. His is much better. At first I thought they were going to be the same and then as he passed by and it did'nt get as: raspy, metallic, buzzy, bee-ish, 1/4 rice, or loud & fast metal like farts like mine does.

If my car is in front of a person, its okay, but if you are behind me you get and earfull of ( metallic, buzzy, bee-like, 1/4 rice, raspy fast metallic like fart sounds in your face.

You know im being honest when I say this. But most of the rice exhaust around here are so bad that I did'nt think mine was so bad. Maybe its like sweating in a hot garbage dump ? You might stink a bit, but the crap around you is so bad you can't really tell.

And for the past month or two I have been bombing the org with questions. Who has this, and who has that ? Post your sound clips !! Opinions on my sound, junk bothersome, tiresome questions ...lol !

You basically want to get a good sound the first time, it saves you money ! What I can say is that I will post sound setups on my site in the future. Right now, Im going to be taking off the MagnaFlow Street Series Muffler and trying something else.

I few seconds ago, I bought the Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler off a site. It was number 17748 i think. Anyways, sometime next week, I should have it installed and will post videos and audio of how it sounds. It was 54 dollars including shipping. So, once I get the magnaflow street series off I will pass it on to whoever wants it for lets say 50 bucks plus a few dollars for shipping.

stay tuned
