slight y-pipe problem

I recently bought a budget y-pipe but, it has this little problem, whenever I give it more than half throttle, it makes this funny sound. When my friend was driving next to me, he said it sounded like a turbo. I plugged the exhaust to try to hear and exhaust leak but I didn't. I am baffled by this, does anyone know what's going on?

beez in a can in the flex section makes a sort of whirring sound wrap the flex secion and it should reduce but wont elimate the sound completely

nismo is right dude. i mean as much as everybody here on the org says good things about the budget y-pipe just remember that you get what you pay for. there's a reason why the budget y-pipe is cheap. i'm not sayin that it's bad but the worksmanship quality is not the same as that of a wsp or even better, the cattman y-pipe. you can try wrappin the flex sec to eliminate some of that noise but you will still hear it, and yes it is bees in the can

I installed my warpspeed y-pipe last week. Other than removing the stock Y, I've had no problems. It makes a nice purr at idle, and at speed, it makes no sound.

Damn! I should've gotten a wps ypipe. My budget makes that horrible sound that soundrd good to me at first but lately its just getting so f--king annoying. A good quite muffler should reduce the sound but no eliminate it. Try the 5th gen muffler.
