NO, this is not about the screws.

It is about OIL. When I checked my screws there was some oil pooled in the top of the manifold. About 3 ounces maybe.

I know of 3 other memebers having this problem...

Anybody else?

What harm do you think this could cause?

It's probably oil from the PCV or crankcase vent that would normally go down into the cylinders and get burned. When the VI opens the pulses may be blowing it up into the secondary plenum.

In other words, it probably wont hurt anything.

I noticed it too. I do not have my valve cover vent routed into my intake though. Mine was not copius but there was oil none the less.

Mine does it too. Over the course of one year, there was about a tablespoon of oil in there.

Both of the VI's I've had did the same thing. I'm sure it's just the turbulence of the air depositing some oil up there. Remember how sooty the plenums were when you swapped manifolds. I think it's very normal but I do watch my oil level.
