Hey, just wanted to ask anyone with experience... what would optimal shift points be for a stock 97 SE (5-spd of course) for drag racing? I only have an air filter, wondering maybe if anyone had a dyno chart of the stock motor? I have a stillen intake, maybe they have a chart... but anyway, i was just wondering. thanks.

 

Shift points are 6500rpm 1-2, 6250rpm 2-3, 6000rpm 3-4, 5800rpm 4-5. Also if you are near stock you might see better results by holdind 3rd gear till the finish line at the drag strip. But other cars with intake + Y pipes will need to hit 4th gear.
