Ive got a 97 auto. When I shift, either from drive to reverse or to 2 or whatever it may be, car has a tendency to stall. Its not every time, and its not even often, but often enough when I know its a problem. Anyway, usually after it stalls my engine light goes on and its a 05 04 code. This goes away after I reset the ECU but usually comes back if it stalls again. At first, this only occured with Drive to Reverse and a few days ago it stalled when I went from 2 to Drive. I dont know what the problem might be, Im just thinking of taking it in for a tune up. I dont think the problem will be fixed with any kind of cleaning, but what the hell do I know?
