Why? --> Hesitation at low rpms. KS? FP? or?

Hey guys,

Small problem....

Lately when i attempt to accelerate, my car simply doesn't want to.
It hesitates for a bit and finally starts accelerating.

this has hapenned when i let the clutch out in first and from a roll press the gas ~40% down. the car will now go anywhere... it'll kep it's roll until about 3 seconds later it will finally start moving.

Same thing hapenned when i dropped into 5th. My rpms dropped to about 1-1.5k a little low for 5th, but when you press the gas, it usually still moves. Same problem, car hesitated and didn't pickup ANY speed. I dropped a gear and was able to pickup speed again. Back in 5th at 2k+ rpm's and the car was fine.

I have been getting a KS code lately, could it be that or maybe the fuel pump?

what else could be causing this problem??

Thanks guys

exactly what you described above has happened to me. I got the ks code, replaced it, and was real happy! I went from a 15.7 @89 to a 15.0 @93!!!! No kidding. I had slips to prove it. All I did was change the ks. It's a huge difference. good luck

KS will zap an appreciable amt of power. Fix it and it's like getting a Y-pipe!
