Progress springs?

I was thinking of getting H&Rs, but now I don't think they will give me as much of a drop as I want, so now I am thinking more along the lines of progress. What I wanted to know is how soft are these springs, and will I have any trouble with scraping (that's what I'm most worried about.) thanks

I have sprints on my ride. With the stock struts, There was a lot of bottoming out and I scraped alot but I just put on kyb adjustables and it is a firmer ride. The front is lowered 2 inches but the back is about 1/2 an inch, I've heard of people cutting a coil or more of the back to even it out. But of course I have 19 inch rims and that could add to the roughness. So depending on the size of your rims and your overall suspension setup the sprints can ce good or bad. Good luck!

friend of mine had the progress springs on his 99 Maxima and the drop looked real nice but if hit a bump the front tires would rub up against the fender and the ride was fairly harsh. the lower the spring the harsher the ride. i have a 98 I30t and i have the eibach pro kit on it which gives it 1.5" front, 1.3" back and the drop looks sweet, no rubbing at all, and it's not too harsh at all. H&
R springs will be a little softer but they won't give u as much of a drop. i'd definitely go with the eibachs

Used to ahve them and i loved them. You would have to be lowered 4inches to even worry about scraping.

Yeah i bought his old springs(will post pics this week) and got stock struts. No rub, i got 18" rims & 245series tires, not even close to rubing-fine@ high speeds and fine over any speed bumbs. The lower the rop the better IMHO

How soft are these springs, will they make my cd player skip over bumbs? I will probably be pairing them with GR-2 shocks

I have the progess springs with AGX struts. The drop is about the same as the H&R's. The car on the softest setting's all around on 18's is nice and soft, but on the firmest settings the ride is rough. NO bottoming out problems. I have a 12 disc and it doesn't skip what so ever or even the in-dash

I too have Progress/AGX(3/6) setup. Harsh ride is in the eyes(or butt) of the beholder. The ride is harsher than my stock 95SE setup, granted. On smooth roads, I feel little difference but on uneven, potholed roads, yikes!

Go with this setup (I love it). If you want a lower drop, go with Srints or coilovers. If you want that fine Maxima ride, stay stock.
