5th Gen Muffler on 4th Gen Aesthetics ...

Gentlemen,

I'll be upgrading my muffler to the 5th Gen. Stock unit.
I think it will look awesome but I have an aesthetic issue:

I don't like the look of half circle opening on my 99 bumper with the rectangular 2K tip... What I'm thinking is some sort of Carbon Fiber or Aluminum cover that I can glue on or screw in...

What do you think? Moreover, where can I get the plate custom made?

Thanks in advance,

Rusty.

Not quite working, to me. Some folks I believe have cut the bumper to match the shape of the 5th gen muffler tip.
I have the same muffler, and I just left it as is. It ain't too big of a deal, IMHO.

I have a fifth gen muffler. I do not like the look of the box tip but I am starting to get use to it. I tried my 4 th gen muffler tip on one of the oulets and it fits so I am going to get another tip from a junkyard to see how 2 look. I am leaving my bumper stock though.

This is a good idea, I'd like to see some pics when it's done.

The bumper on the 95-96 looks like it'll be easier to work on. 97-99 has the crease on the bottom of the bumper...

What do you guys suggest to use to cover up the hole???
