Down Pipe hung real low
Hey guys,
I just changed the rubber hanger on my bpipe. My downpipe was hanging real low and I have always noticed this. I have an apex ws, wsp y and stock cat. Now that I rehung my bpipe, the muffler hangs towards the driverside. Any suggestions on how to center it? I think the shop that installed my system did a bad job. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hmm, just check all of the hangers, check if any of them are bent. I REALLY hate exhuast noise (banging) problems and things that are off-center.
BTW, I have the same setup as you except no down pipe. How does your setup sound?

I checked all the hangers and they are fine. I just recently replace all of them. It still hangs to the driverside. O well, not too noticable. I am running a wsp y pipe and an Apexi Ws. The sound is great. Deep growl, very quiet. When i first had it installed it was loud as hell, then I changed the hangers and got rid of the vibrations in the pipe. Quiet as a mouse. it sounds like my stock piping with just my borla muffler. Just a tad bit louder. I love the way the car feels after 3K. Pulls like a bat out of H3ll. I'll try to take a clip of the sound tomorrow and email it to you if you'd like. Just let me know. Thanks for the suggestion

Yeah i just changed the rubber bushings. It was a bi@ch getting the one next to the cat. I had to use a floor jack and my spare tire jack to lift the pipe enough to hang it. Be careful of the oxygen sensor on the y pipe though. I raised the pipe very slowly. the oxygen sensor will rub the metal right above it. I will send you a sound clip later today. What's the email address?

Yeah, please send me a sound clip. I would like to know how mine compares to yours. I might look into changing the hangers too if it helps. You just changed the rubber bushings, right?
