ok it's not really a tragedy...a minor discomfort...but i left my windows open overnight and in the morning when I woke up it had just started to rain ...Now my car smells like absolute sh*t when it sits for any period of time. Any recommendations on how to deodorize? I am leaving the windows open (in my garage) to air it out, and I doused the floor mats with carpet cleaner and vacccumed em up...anything else?

 

Febreze auto! That stuff works wonders, used it when my dad(smoker) gave me his old car, took a couple tries, but it knocked the smell out.

 

You'll need to shampoo with Simple Green

 

shampoo like above post says, if odor is still there, febreeze, leave windows open (make sure its not raining) and let it dry, repeat frebreezing if neccassary

same thing happened to me and i shampood my seats and floors and febreezed. worked well!
