Disturbing the Peace
Today as I was walking out of walmart I used my remote to roll down my windows to let out the sun's scorching heat. Little to my knowledge an employee of walmart collecting shopping carts watches my windows roll down. It was wonderful to see that it caught him off guard. As I approached the car he walked up and asked "Did you roll those windows down automatically?" "yeah, sure did." I replied. He asked me what that function was called and where to get it done. I told him it was a stock option that came with the car. He said cool. Before I drove off, he looked at me through my window and says "that's tight, real tight bruh." I accepted his compliment and drove off grinning. You have to love some stock options.

Ummmm........ what he said.
There is NO way to roll them back up. you can ONLY roll them down. this is beause i believe BMWs had the roll-up feature for a year or something and then the risk was announced that a child who was still in the vehicle could have his/her head in the window and can die if the windows had accidentally rolled up. Because of this, no car will come with factory roll-up windows. i hope this thread doesnt get to 600 pages with people going nuts about how to roll up the windows like the last thread did. sorry guys, it was only funny the first time.
I like the window roll down features but it got me into trouble the last Lake Erie winter.
I was down in our lab working and my co-worker asked me why my front windows were open while it was snowing really hard. Apparently, I had accidentially pressed the button while in my pocket. It must've been open for a good 15 minutes. Luckily it didn't snow too hard. Could've been worse, could've been raining! I do love the range on the keylesse entry compared to my parent's honda but if your not careful it can get you into trouble!!
A side note: I use the keyless all the time to open my doors and trunks on my '95. I had a hard time opening the trunk one time since I hardly use the locks. Might be a good idea to use the key once in awhile to keep the locks lubed on all the doors and trunk.

im not to hot about the roll down feature.. sometimes when i put my keys in my pocket and i have something else in there, wallet phone etc.. i just happens to hit the button and roll them down as i walk away from the car. This is actually how i found out about the feature. I was walking to circuit city and i turn around and see my windows rolling down..im like...whhhaaattt oh sweet!
ok, i'm gonna sound like an idiot, but i have a 98 se with the keyless. Is the roll-down thing an option that I would have? should there be a separate button for it? if not, how do i do it? I'm new to the max and dont know much yet.

Ok, lets clear this up for everyone out there. If you have a remote for your Max, you should have the ability to roll the windows down. All you do is press and hold the unlock button. If you wnt both front windows to come down, you press unlock once, then hold it.
There IS NO factory option that allows you to roll them back up, and anyone that tells you that is a liar.
Being maxima "enthusiasts" I would think you guys could be a little more mature and help the future enthusiasts out with these questions.
(sorry to ruin yer fun)
