fixing sticking gauges...

well my gauges have been sticking for wayyy to many months since i put them in. i did one attempt to fix them but it didn't really help. i'm going to attempt to do this again today, hopefully for the final time. anyone have good tips to keep them from sticking? i used double sided tape to keep the gauges down and super glue but some how they still seem to rub the bottum of the needles. i sometimes wish i didn't even bother and kept my gxe black gauges because it's so annoying and embarrassing to see when driving. thanx for any help!

I got the same problem. I sand papered out the middle opening of the gauges and it still sticks. I saw that someone sanded the bottem of their needles, i might try that but you gotta be careful if you do that. Good luck

yeah i was thinking about that but not sure if that would cause the needles to read differently...? if i knew it would be such a pain to do these way back when or that i'd suck at installing, i would have said forget about it. thanx
