should I have to change my knock sensor at 59k?

Lately my car has been really slow of the line. Within the last month I have...cleaned my air intake, TBx2, IACV, changed plugs (ngk plats), changed oil, changed fuel filter, went to get fuel injector and system cleaning, went back to the engine to check for anything or hoses that might not have been hooked back up...all good. The only thing I can think of is the knock sensor and I'm like WTF, this car only has 59k on it!!! Can anyone please help me troubleshoot this? what else could there be? Thanks in advance -Tori

P.S. I have also resetted the ecu a few times.

Check your EDU for ghost codes like the knock sensor

sounds like you have done everything possible. check you're ecu to see if the code 0304 is coming up. You can also check the resistance of the knock sensor with an ohm meter to make sure it is working properly. I think it is 5 ohms but I could be mustaken, somebody correct me if I am wrong. And yes it can go bad at 59k, I think I replaced mine somewhere around there.

The nominal resistance for the knock sensor should be 500,000 ohms. However, if you get the 0304 code from the ECU, it's bad. Sometimes, a bad KS can still test correctly with a on ohm meter.

Checked the ECU and got 0403 code, Trottle Position Sensor. Could that be the prob, I have never had a problem with my idel before?
