if its a click click click noise check your tires...alot of times if you have a nail or screw stuck in the tire it makes that exact noise when you are driving slow but seems to disappear when u go faster.

humm...check to see if one of the plastic covers under the car is maybe slightly touching one of the tires when u have the steering wheel turned, or might be your brakes...they have been known to make some werid noises, could also be your steering pump. Does your steering pump make a hissing/scraping noise when you have the steering wheel turned to either side completely?
