on my '99, one of the two license plate lights in the back is out...see pic below. strange thing is, the light that's ON in the photo is now the one that's out, and vice versa:



fuse problem? relay problem? if so, where is the fuse located so i can change it? btw, no other taillights are out, just the one lil' one.

Tailight fuse possibly...its under the dash drivers side fuse panel also theyres a bunch in there that might be useful to check btw...it might be different on the gtr maximas j/k

 

just change the bulb thats out its really easy to change. u gotta unscrew the cover first i think there are 2 screws and then just change the bulb n put everything together.

 

changed the bulb twice already, no dice....

 

Check the wiring to it. Sounds like something is shorting out. If it was a tail light fuse, they wouldn't work. Try shaking (and banging) them around a bit, and see if they flicker. If it does, most likely wiring.

both of mine are out, and have been out since i got the car a year ago, i've had no problems yet, i pass PA inspection and have had numerous police behind me and ive never been pulled over, i'm trying to find the casue but have had no luck...
